Signed up with Twitter – the new cool social networking site – Tweet, Tweet!

I discovered Twitter just a few short days ago, even though I had heard of it a few times before. But a couple of days ago I decided to check it out.

Twitter is a great new social networking site, and it is really fun and easy to use. I would say that what happens on Twitter could be called “mini-blogging”, it is sort of a cross between a blog and instant messaging, if that makes sense.

On Twitter, you can post short, 1 – 3 sentence (140 characters) updates on what you are doing, or anything else you want people to know about. These little messages are called “Tweets”! Delivery to your followers is instant.

Twitter is all about you “following” people and people following you. If you find people on there in your niche and you are interested in what they have to say, just follow them! Likewise, if other people find what you have to say worthwile, they will follow you.

This is a great way of building up a “list” of followers (“subscribers”). There are actually a lot of big Internet Marketers very active on Twitter and are using the site to create income by posting links to some of their products, or Affiliate Products, newsletters etc. So there is a real potential to make money, too!
