@Petra: I doubt if anybody will be googling “Continue Reading”. Anyway I finally managed to find a plug-in that fixes this issue in two simple steps. Download and Activate Custom More Link go the Custom More Link under settings in your wordpress dashboard. Change the default code to %linktext% save it and check to see the effect on your read more link.

@Petra: I wasn’t refering to adsense not being compatible with scratchback. What I wsa trying to say is that sometime ago, I read taht google stripped blogs with scratchback and widgetbucks of their page ranks. It’s been almost 2 months since I read that article and I can’t remember the reason they gave for google’s action. Just wanted to alert you anyway.

P.S: You need to add nofollow to your continue reading links or else you’ll ranking in google for continue reading. Cheers and hope you got your username and password for the IM Megapack. Thanks for the comments

Couldn’t help but notice the scratchback top links widget in your sidebar. I once read somewhere that google penalizes users of Widgetbucks and Scratchback,which was why I had the former removed.

Yes tool https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal is very useful to find the most competitive keyword phrases, but it isn’t only what you need to do. This tool only shows what we think which keyword phrases are competitive likely.

But another tool is very useful too it is http://www.google.com/sktool and it is complementary tool to first mentioned. This tool shows keyword phrases ordered like top list of any existing web page or web site which is relevant and related to desired keyword phrases.

I use these both tools and I have great ranking placement of my keyword phrases at google SERP-s.
