Yes anna there has been an update this year. The last one I think was in july. Congrats on your pr upgrade. Although don’t you know pr really doesn’t mean anything any more atleast not too google. They have just about wiped it out of there algorithm. It is still great to see your own sites moving up pr but that just means you built higher relevent links to your site. Which means unless you can get some pr 6,7,8,9,10 links your site will pretty much not get any higher then pr 4 or 5. Only thing pr is good for now according to google is getting you indexed fast.

Hi Da brush, I think the jump from PR3 to PR4 is a big one, so Google won’t make it easy. Just keep link building and providing good content, and be patient – it might happen some day!
